Bar Del Sole is situated on the main street running through Praiano, shortly after the archway that signals you have arrived in Praiano. Bar Del Sol is the spot where locals come and do a shot of Espresso in the morning and a quick beer in the hot afternoon. There are a number of tables on the front terrace where... More

Like the Cheers of Praiano. You go here to see the view, watch the world go by, grab un caffe, un gelato, or un limoncello. See and be seen. Everyone in Praiano is here. If you can get a spot outside you can sit for hours if you like, or just for a quick refreshment and then on with your... More

Great place for coffee, pastries, gelato, or even a beer in Praiano. The bar is just around the corner from our apartment. On a sunny day they have a large patio to hang out on.

Bars are not plentiful in Praiano and so it all seems to happen here in Bar del Sole. It's a wonderful spot to watch the people huddle by and is frequented by locals and tourists alike and by young as well as old customers.

Stopped every morning and sat outside to enjoy a cafe (espresso), capuccino or smoothie. Personal favorite was the blueberry smoothie with yogurt. Pastries solid but not great.

Praiano in general struck me as a relaxed spot, not crazy with tourists at all. And this bar is just as relaxed and chill as the area. The service and the views were great. This place has everything that a tourist with intentions of relaxing needs - Drinks, gelato coffee, snacks, pleasant atmosphere... We were not staying in Praiano, just... More

Four of us came to this bar after trying to go to Vivaro Wine Bar (which was closed at 7), a couple of mins walk west from this one, and we are glad we did. We had outdoor seating, ordered a few drinks and enjoyed the spectacular views of the surroundings at sunset. The bar was not too crowded, but... More

Best coffee we've had in Italy. Delicious soy milk. Traditional local experience. Great view from outside. Opposite church square

Visited Praiano this time last year for six nights. Stopped off in Bar Sole for a couple of hours each evening. Great drinks, nice ice-cream and lovely staff. Super view of Positano from the terrace too. There is not much on offer in Praiano bar wise but with this spot you don't really need anywhere else.

We drove through Praiano and desperately needed a coffee break. So we sat on the terrace of the Bar del Sole and ordered two cappuccino that came - to our surprise - with two little suns made of cocoa powder on top and two glasses of water. 4€ in total - great deal! The coffee was delicious. Only flaw: dirty... More
