If you are in Sicily there are always steps LOL. Nice enough church . again, as other's have mentioned not as impressive as some of the other churches but you were allowed in for free ( for a change.)

Nice place to visit...nice square..not very touristical...you can have a stop there to seethe cathedral...we only made a quich stop on our way to Syracuse

This monument was open for quite a long period. There was always background music, that made the place feel more sacred and muffle the chattering. Though much has been done already, such a priceless monument needs more funds.

This is a very restrained cathedral, in white stone with some gold work, and grey stone column capitals.It is pleasant without being spectacular
