Mama Agata's Cooking Class was a truly special part of our week in Ravello. Chiara's positive energy and generous spirit welcomed us and we felt like family. She led us through a day of delicious food, family stories and culinary discovery as we watched Mama Agata and Gennaro prepare authentic Italian food. We were part of a group of eight... More

I recently visited Amalfi Coast with a travel group and Mamma Agata's cooking class was a part of our itinerary. It was by far the BEST part of the trip. Hands down. We knew we would be taking a cooking class in the private home of a highly sought after chef, but we had no idea what we were truly... More

I went to Mamma Agata's cooking school with a travel group. It was an immersive and amazing experience. Kira and her family make you feel like family. The food and wine were incredibly good. The cooking lessons were so insightful. I am someone who loves cooking and am no stranger to the kitchen but I still learned so much at... More

I want to echo all of the wonderful accolades other reviews have given this wonderful experience, but I also thought it might be helpful to describe how the class works. The class starts in the morning, 10AM; the participants (about 16-18) are seated at a long beautiful table on the veranda with an incredible view of the gardens and Mediterranean.... More

My wife and I have taken many cooking classes and this by far was the best. It is an all day affair and was the highlight of my wife's and my visit to the Amalfi coast. There was a great group (about 17 in all) of participants in this class . Chiara is one of the most lovely individuals I... More

My husband & I were lucky enough to spend a day at Mamma Agata's Amalfi cooking class. What a wonderful day & one of our trip highlights! Set in their family home with spectacular views overlooking the coast, we were treated to a mouth watering & wonderful day of cooking & eating. Chiara, Mamma Agata's daughter, sets the tone of... We were recommended mamma agata and were delivered exactly what we wanted. Ciara was so delightful and great personality! She was lovely and humorous at the same time. Food was amazing. And we learned sooooo much. I love to cook and my boyfriend who is not as much a chef.... Bragged about the experience and knowledge he learned.

Although I haven't been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Italy in order to attend Mamma Agata's cooking school, I did do the next best thing by purchasing her cookbook! It has change the way I cook my sauce and opened my eyes to new ways of cooking some Italian classics and some I have never had before. My... More

Learn how to cook authentic Italian basics with the best chefs. The passion that Mamma Agata and her daughter exude about cooking is infectious. The food was out of this world. The lemon cake, the hell paper, fritters, the sausage pasta.... Enjoy learning how to make these, then eat them in the most amazing terrace with coastal views. I am... More
