The venue for chamber music is a church building built in 1281. It is a terrific sone walled building with great acoustics. Check out the musicians, most of whom seem to perform often for the society, so they aren't bringing in talent from the top...More

"Isn't it Romantic" was a Rogers and Hart classic, but the song captured the mood of the amazing concert last night, "Cole Porter's World" in The Annunizata Historical Building. Though it was held indoors, the ambiance was set with the full moon visible over the...More

We knew about the Ravello summer concerts, but going there in October did not expect much. It was a really pleasant surprise to find that they organize concerts in the Anunziata (convent?) off-season. We went to hear an excellent young pianist perform Schuman/Beethoven/Schubert to a...More

This is a wonderful, intimate experience. It is a lovely setting and definitely worth repeating. Amazing musicians. Amazing location. And, off the beaten path.

I enjoyed a cello performance, accompanied by a piano, featuring Bach. Staged in the hundreds-year old church chambers, the sound was stunning. Only 30 or so tickets were available. Limoncello, of course, at intermission.

I am a music snob.......plain and simple. And, going to Ravello without experiencing music is going to a library and not reading a book. The history that music plays in this beautiful city is not to be ignored. Wagner was inspired by this setting, and...More

Hello! We are looking to book a concert in mid-September of this year and both of the concerts on the two dates we are free are listed to be held at Annunziata Historic Building. Does anyone know if this building and this concert is indeed the beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the Amalfi Coast in some of the photos posted here? Or is this an indoor building where the concert takes place. Thank you!

Not sure, but I did attend a small chamber performance that was fabulous inside, which I am doing again in a week or so. The ambience was amazing.
