Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We researched quite a bit before deciding to choose this beach... and were very satisfied!

We came during what must still be the early season. Very few people there, which was absolutely ideal. Parking was confusing... we had no idea where to go, but finally found a parking garage entrance (there should be quite a few all along the beach side of Viale Milano. There was no ticket and we couldn't figure out if we were even allowed into the very nice (and huge!) parking garage - staff at Ettore 68 confirmed that it was free (say what?!), at least for now (early-season special?). Fantastic value, and made getting to the beach truly hassle free. We walked right out of the garage and into the Ettore entrance!

Staff spoke no English, but not an issue at all - they were very friendly and helpful, and we had an umbrella shore-side (22 Euro) in no time. There are cheaper options too.

Very clean restrooms, which is a must for us. We have two young kids and sometime restrooms are changing room so they need to be clean. Incidentally, they have both!

The beach: beautiful fine sand (reminds me of Florida panhandle), no debris to worry about your feet on. Water was very nice (not for Italians, mind you... hardly anyone swimming), and kids and I went in and stayed in for over an hour before retiring to the sand. Very shallow, minimal waves. No rock barriers to block waves, but they're unsightly (in my mind) and unnecessary here. You could easily wade out a hundred yards and still not hit water over your head.

The pool: wow what a pool! Seems relatively new, very stylish, and has a host of family-friendly features, like multiple shallow entrances, showers, lots of sunning chairs. Fantastic! It's not huge, but it was us and probably four more families - about the max I'd want. I imagine in August it feels a lot smaller.

There's a lounge area near the entrance that's beautifully landscaped. We joked we could just pay a fee and happily stay there all day. It's "carpeted" with high-end astroturf, and it's so comfortable, we all found ourselves laying on it at one point or another. Very nice!

No resident bar, I believe, but Fenks is a restaurant and bar next door (or maybe they're joined, idk) and has everything you might want. We ate there and it was... ok. Nothing special. I'd be sure to pack a shirt and shorts for this bar, as swim-trunks-only would be insufficient. No beachside bar for mixed drinks, though, (that we saw anyway) so if that's a driver for you you might be disappointed.

Only qualm: no pricing or hours listed on their otherwise very nice website... very frustrating, but it seems standard for most beach websites we looked at. I was able to reserve an umbrella and chairs, but it was highly unnecessary as the beach was relatively empty.

Bottom line: Fantastic facilities, clean, amazing pool, friendly staff, beautiful beach, great for families, extremely easy parking!

A beautiful bathroom, but in addition to being really aesthetically beautiful, very very clean, which is very important these days. The owner, Ms. Sonia, is very kind, helped by 2 very kind and handsome guys. Prices are normal. Plus it also has a beautiful swimming pool. customer service. Highly recommended.

Excellent establishment a stone's throw from Viale Ceccarini equipped with every comfort and services that really make people feel good.
The only flaw is the prices are definitely too high. I think it is excessive to charge 40 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella and 2 euros for a hot shower lasting just over a minute. At least the pause button is ingenious, allowing you to recover time and consume less water.
Apart from this aspect that needs improvement, Ettore is a bathroom to be recommended

I congratulate all the staff.
Very polite, helpful, kind people with a smile on their faces every time, not to be underestimated, especially in the most important period, the week of August!!
Lido 68 has a swimming pool, games for children and a ping pong table, as well as the classic bar/restaurant (with average prices).
