I would recommend this trail to hikers of various skill level. It is approximately 1 hour to the top. There are many cut-ins along the trail allowing for plenty of photo opportunities and various different views of Lake Garda and the vineyards below. You can...More

A short hike up Monte Brione (probably about an hour to the top) provides you with several places to stop and take in the view of Lake Garda, the river and the city. We did this every morning on our stay to start the day....More

We walked Monte Brione on a very dull and rainy day, but enjoyed the views on our way up. Quite difficult steps once you get nearer the top.

Cable cars to the top are reasonably priced and views are spectacular. Get there early though unless you want to queue.

I walked along Monte Brione and visited the forts which cover the length. The walk took around two hours with some breaks to admire the views.

Classed as an "easy" walk from the hotels literature but with the large number of quite high steps that start the walk off, I'd say it was more "moderate" than "easy". Not particularly well marked but not difficult to work out which way to go....More
