Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The work was realized for the famous exhibition organized in 1962 as a part of the annual festival and dedicated to the “Sculptures in the city”. It was particularly made for the spot where Via Salara Vecchia meet Via Filitteria and the five silhouettes on the iron structure hover in the air waiting for those who are climbing or descending the staircase. A great memento, one of several in the city, of the extraordinary exhibition.

I'm not sure what this sculpture is trying to portray but it was one of many of sculptures which remain in the town from the 1962 open air art exhibition. Seeking out these sculptures became a challenge of my on a week long stay in Spoleto. The piece by Pietro Consagra is located at the top of the stairs heading up from the lower part of the town in the direction of the Duomo.
