Really enjoyable experience. Lovely environment and hosts. Kids (age 15&13) enjoyed it too. Prepared a great variety of Italian food and ate it along with some delicious local red wine. Thank you Enzo & Mimo!

Warm hospitality and a lot of fun!
In a small group of people coming from different part of Europe, we made many local recipes (zeppole, pasta, vegetarian balls) and a delicious tiramisù.
Learning and eating so much yummy food!
Coffee in moka was a nice final touch

What a great night! Inze, the chef, was an absolute joy and Enzo thank you so much for your hospitality. We learnt how to make the local pasta and sauces plus my favourite melanzana balls. The setting was so beautiful and the dinner we enjoyed after our culinary efforts was delicious accompanied with local wine. I can't wait to try the other experiences offered by Visit Mediterraneo when I return to Tropea.

Very nice and funny class in a small group.

An unbelievable and wonderful experience. My wife and I were picked up at our hotel in Tropea at 4:30 and driven out to the countryside to a secluded former restaurant for the cooking class. We were introduced to the chef who has worked in restaurants in the past but now just does cooking classes. In a beautiful outdoor environment we were taught how to make two different pastas from scratch using all local fresh ingredients along with a vegetarian main course. While the pastas were resting we took a nice walk and watched a beautiful sunset. We came back to appetizers and wine before we helped put the final ingredients together to make the pasta dishes. We sat outside in a patio and were able to eat what we helped prepare while drinking excellent local wine. Overall it was the best experience we have had on our trip. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Enzo the coordinator of the experience was amazing, helpful and enjoyable to be around. The chef was fun, knowledgeable and a great teacher.

Enzo who organized the evening was awesome!,
He was very organized, professional, communicated often so you always knew what was happening. His English is Excellent, he’s funny, engaging, and has great energy and stayed during the entire evening.
Was great he picked us up and returned us to our hotel.
It’s a very social evening with others which was lovely to meet people from other countries and the chef was a lot of fun. Her English is good and you could tell she’s passionate about cooking locally.
My husband is a very good Italian cook so we found it a bit too basic, if your looking for an advanced cooking class. We made homemade pasta and the chef prepared 2 basic sauces, eggplant (meat balls) as well we were given wine, and a nice antipasto starter. Dessert ie Gelato would have been a nice touch as well for the price point.

You're right: the cooking class in the countryside is not at an advanced level, to allow any guest to get close to simple and easily repeatable recipes. Because of the duration, making a (sweet) fourth course in the class is really hard (even if, if I'm not mistaken, we did some zucchini flower fritters, as well). In another food experience, at lunchtime, we provide a four-course cooking class, with a special tiramisù making. Thanks again for your great company. I hope your Italian journey is going very well! Amazing tailored experience in the picturesque Tropea countryside. The genuine passion, knowledge and hospitality Enzo shared was a highlight of our trip! We utilized locally sourced high quality ingredients with the passionate and talented chef Inez. 10/10 recommend!

We had a cooking class booked and it was absolutely amazing. It did not feel commercial and staged, it was very warm atmosphere with great chat, lovely stories, the group was not too big! I highly recommend this, it was a great fun and we are blown away by Enzo's communication and hospitality. Thank you!

An unforgettable experience with Enzo and the friendly team at Monte Poro Masseria. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Calabria. We enjoyed finding out about the local area, the farm and how it operates. Enzo is professional, friendly and passionate about his local area and it’s traditions; keen to share it with his guests and give them the most authentic and enjoyable experience possible. We loved making the local pasta; chatting to Enzo as we did so and enjoying the stunning views around us. The food was delicious- the ricotta the best I have ever tasted.
We were touring around Calabria so it was really helpful to chat with Enzo about our plans. He was so keen to ensure we had the best trip possible and went above and beyond the actual food experience, sending us a list of really helpful suggestions and links for the rest of our trip.

Someone says that vacation calories don’t count! I know very well the feeling after one of our food experiences.
