This museum is one of the best I have visited. Well laid out with a lot of interesting exhibits and a wealth of information. You will need about half a day to truly appreciate what this museum has to offer. I thoroughly recommend it .

Really enjoyed the famous cafe nearby, a walk over the new bridge to the Pegasus Memorial with Pegasus Bridge itself (original) in the grounds. We were a family group with children and they enjoyed themselves too, great overall attraction a look forward to visiting again.

The museum is well set up, with many items and a good routing a interativeness. The outside items are also very impressive and give a good view of the equipment, tanks, etc.

Whilst here we latched on to the museum guide who was taking a Ledger group around. He brought the whole thing to life. Absolutely superb and fascinating history.

At least a couple of hours.......There are exhibits outside, a short film to watch and other exhibits inside. Also worth visiting nearby Cafe Gondree.
