My wife and I visited here with our kids (age 8 and 10) as part of a half-day Canadian D-Day tour. This was a very special place to visit and I was very moved standing among the graves of our fallen soldiers. We took a...More

A must see for Canadians. They've created a most beautiful cemetery in honour of the Canadian soldiers who lost their lives.

Meticulously maintained graves in rows with beautiful flowers! Out of the way location, not easy to find so make sure you have specific directions and a GPS.

Travelled here to see and honour the Canadian soldiers in this cemetery. It is a beautiful spot and a very well tended cemetery, complete with poppies.

I loved this cemetery. It was so well kept, as are all the war cemeteries in Normandy. It is quite remote, in open countryside, which somehow makes it more special. Worth a detour visit.

It is one of the better military cemeteries in France; located in the country outside of the busy areas. It is peaceful, well maintained. Very moving as one walks through the rows reading names on the crosses. The soldiers who died were so young.

A walk through the graves of so many young men who will never be forgotten. They willingly gave their lives that we may live in peace.

Of all the Canadian war cemeteries that we visited, and we saw a few while in Normandy, this one was the most beautifully maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (http://www.cwgc.org). The two towers with the wisteria growing around them I'm sure are beautiful in...More
