Two sets of walls with the castle in the middle built around s central courtyard. An interesting walk around the rooms set up as they used to be lived in, which the kids really enjoyed. Their favourite was the old (as opposed to the new,...More
The castle Thun is a very interesting place with a great panoramic view and gardens down on a hill on te way to the entrance. The castle is surrounded by Apple trees' fields and must be very nice to go there when everything is green....More
The castle is wonderful and clean and all, I liked it very much (I think that just the Münchener Residenz can beat it). The problem is that it's too cold! I know that nowadays the heating is not cheap, but with -11 degrees a little...More
My husband and I took a couple hours to tour this historic sight. We rented the audio tour that brought us room to room explaining in deep detail the history of each article of furniture, picture on the wall, etc. A well worth stop.
