Looking from the outside you would not expect such an immersive and challenging educational experience. Leave plenty of time to see everything and don’t be rushed. Plan on eating at the cafe, surprised what a great lunch we had.

This is such a cool and unique museum! Built in and around a WWII Bunker, the museum is able to transport you to another place and time. But this is so much more than just a museum about WWII in Denmark. Cool interactive technology is...More

Excellent museum along with the bunker from WWII. Part of the museum is on the local history, another part on amber from the area, and then the bunker with good audio describing each item.

Maybe I had expected too much of this attraction located on the West Coast of Denmark. Some of my friends had been at Tirpitz, and they tended to raze about it. I had also checked the website for the place, and it was set-up very...More

The Danes are highly regarded for their skillful and clever designs and this museum only adds to that reputation. A WWII bunker, that was originally built by the Germans as part of their West coast defences in Jutland, is now a museum housing several exhibitions...More

A very interesting museum to visit. You are far back in time, experiencing the rise and life of Jutland's west coast. You can also hear very well-done stories from World War II occupation of the west coast of Jutland.

Bunker museum, with a modern twist. Audio interaction with wifi hand held gizmos. Great day. 4D cinema. If you are in this area it's a must see.

Not really my kind of museum, but the place is crowded, so I´m probably not the one to judge. It´s almost entirely about the WW2, but I was glad to see the big amber-collection and a very impressive model of the Sydney Opera House made...More

Yes! The audio-video production in the historical timeline makes reading unnecessary. Much of what is offered can be understood without reading the signage. I think all children over the age of 5 would have a good... More
