It's a winery meant to receive tourists, therefore they have infrastructure. I took the basic tour (there's also an "uvabus" that takes you around), and a tour guide takes you down into the cavas and you see a bit of machinery. In the end you get wine tasting (one type). In this place you get a 10% discount when you... More

We just visited the Freixenet winery during a visit to Tequisquiapan, Mexico. The winery was incredible in size and scale. We were given a tour by Andrea who spoke English and was incredibly knowledgable about the wine products and also guided us through a wine tasting event. Thank you Andrea, you were a godsend to the people in our group... More

This used to be the best experience in the wineries of the valley but not anymore. Now there is always lots of people, you have to wait to take a tour, you have to make a long line to enter the wine store and they run out of food early... this is the negative side, however is still the most... Thanks to share your opinion, It's a pitty you get this impresion, nowadays during the weekend is when we receive the major part of our visitors, but we always try to do our best, and to attend everybody. We also sell tickets for our tours on line, to avoid this part that people have to wait. Hope to see you... More

Thanks for your opinion. It's a pity you get this impresion of our Winery, because all of our staff are instructed to be very kind with our visitors. It's true the classical visit of $80 pesos is the most selled and sometimes the groups are of 60-70 people. We hope you could come back again and enjoy another wine experiences... More

Great place to visit if you enjoy wine. Take some time after your visit to try some of the snacks that are being sold on the inside patio.

Place is nice and organized, but is just wine and nothing else. You can buy a nice bottle and stay for a nice afternoon at the yard drinking it. They serve some food and dessert as well.

The wine has a great taste, but if you want a tour I really don't recommend that. Rarely you heard what about is, and is a lot of information in the moment. Also, the prices of the cheese and bread are excessive, I suggest to go first a place near where made cheese, buy much more cheap and then go... More

Cava Freixenet (Finca Doña Dolores) It is a good place to visit if you are interested in learning the wine making process. Tours are offered every hour on the hour and they are well organized. The tour is brief and consists of visiting the underground wine cellars. It is a good way to get introduced into the wine world. At... More

If you are ever around Queretaro, stop by. Tours every hour. If you call they say you need to make a reservarion online and buy tickets. This is not needed. You can just show up. Great wine and food. We will be back.
