We came here on an Outlander tour. The mausoleum itself is beautiful. You can climb up the tower, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like tight spaces. The crypt is, well, interesting. It's small and contains some old, open coffins.

Admittedly, I got the idea to come here from Google. Seems guides were being hired to take them here, since it's the Old Fox of Outlander fame. Drove here and the gate to the graveyard was unlocked, but I knew the Old Fox was inside...More

The Wardlaw Mausoleum was an unexpected find and Freja the young tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Many historically interesting characters from the Fraser family are connected with the Mausoleum and local area. Entering the crypt and seeing the lead coffins was eerie and...More

Infamous Simon Fraser's burial place. Lovely quiet cemetery and resting place for hundreds of Clan Fraser decendants. A nice off the beaten path place to experience history.

A must see for all Outlander fans - this is where Jamie's grandfather, Lord Fraser of Lovat, is buried. We visited this place as a part of the Outlander guided tour.
