Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was recommended when I booked my taxi from Pai and it was so worth the stop. Upon arrival they asked me if I wanted to bicycle or a tram. I chose the bicycle and they give you a map and send you on your way. It was uncrowded, I think that this might be one of those hidden gems that most tourist don’t know about.

All I can say is it was very spiritual for me and it’s only 20 minutes from Chiang Mai, but you feel like you’re out in the country. They have benches and stops along the way where you can sit and enjoy the view. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand and I’ve been here for two months 🌺

This is more than a botanical garden, and perhaps less. If you want to see hundreds of orchids or cactuses or pine trees, you will not find them here. But it’s a huge area that has hundreds of topiaries, some animals to feed/pet, and it’s really well maintained. A nice escape from the city noises and a welcome change of scenery.

We went to the gardens without great expectations and were very pleasantly surprised as the place is so amazing we spent most of the day there just wandering the many paths. There is a hotel resort located next door and a restaurant located at the entrance to the gardens which serves reasonably priced drinks and very nice Thai food, the staff are lovely. You can take a tram ride round the grounds but we chose to walk, there are a lot of realistic topiary animals, sculptures and water features as well as a small zoo and aviaries with various types of birds, there is also a small museum consisting of wooden houses/buildings and old farm equipment, all in all it's well worth a trip if you enjoy gardens and nature.

It was the second time we visited these gardens, still again surprised by its beauty and diversity. Greet park to cycle around and enjoy nature.

What a find! I don't understand why this place is not talked about more in Chiang Mai. The gardens are beautiful and there is so much to see. Different types of plants, amazing topiary animals, live animals including camels and ostriches, peddle-boats, children's play park, and a maze. You can go around in a golf buggy or hire bicycles. There is an excellent buffet restaurant for lunch in the same grounds with Thai, Western, Japanese foods. An excellent place for families but even our teenage son loved riding the bike around freely.

We explored the gardens as we were guests in the hotel. Reduced staff due to Covid - 19 but they had managed to keep on top and the areas were maintained.
Worth a visit if you are in the area or stopping in the hotel

Such a beautiful setting for whatever reason you can dream of. Club had a mexi-feed here, catered by Dukes. Mmm Olé! Clean facilities before and after the deluge swamped us. Pleasant atmosphere includes a small petting farm, aviary and topiary garden. Out-of-town guests will not want to leave this shangri-la.

What a find! It is a spectacular, all inclusive place to visit. There are peddle boats, a zoo, maze, waterfall, museum and an exhibit pertaining to the Lanna culture. We visited on a Thursday and had the place to ourselves. It exceeded our expectations and it a great place to spend a half or full day. Due to its size, there is a free shuttle that will take you around (we didn't use it) or you can rent bikes or a golf cart to travel around. Each area is definitely worth a stop, but some will require more time than others. You can bring your own bike; however, there is an additional charge (which I think is a little ridiculous). The entrance fee is 86 baht (less than $3 USD). Even if you are in Chiang Mai, it is worth the trip! There are also 3 restaurants on property (outside of the garden), so there's no need to rush your visit. The restaurants are clean, reasonably priced, attractive and the food was good.

Must visit this truly beautiful botanical garden that has been delicately built and maintained with so much tenderness, meticulousness and dedication. Don’t just stick to the tram but make sure to wander around leisurely to enjoy its full beauty of this healing sanctuary.
