We decided, at the beginning of October to have a last holiday by the sea: We chose Residence Nêmêa in Mimizan Plage as a good looking place to visit and with apartments:. The only drawback was that in order for my wife and I to have a bedroom each (I snore!) it was necessary to book an apartment for six... More

A bustling French seaside town full of tiny gift shops, an indoor market selling locally made items and tourist items, some lovely restaurants and pizzerias catering for all tastes and budgets and many hotels within a short walk from Le plage, which is ideal for water sports. There is an outdoor market that sells all sorts of wears but the... More

We chose to go out of season as it is very busy in the summer. Long, wide sandy beach with soft sand. Sea not for swimmers out of season but good for surfing. Lovely to walk along the beach.

A lovely French seaside town. Beach is incredible (Miles and miles of golden sandy beach). The sea is great with different areas perfect for different age groups with plenty of water sports on offer. The north side of the town has lots of restaurants ranging in prices and styles! (seafood is great). The ice cream is another plus point!

A beautiful family beach. So blue and sandy. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon. There are many places to eat with sea views.

What a fantastic beach. It was quite quiet when we used the beach (early September) but I'd happily go back again. The sea is not too rough but still great fun to play in the waves. Lifeguards in small areas for peace of mind.

Beatifil small town, stunning beaches. Cozy downtownt, good options of restaurant and activities. Surf spot. Only negative point: a paper factory leaves an awful smell of sulfur in the air. Very strong and uncomfortable, specially in the morning.

Great place for everything if you like the beach and surfing. Good nightlife. Great parking by the beach for motor homes

Mimizan Plage is a great seaside town with local open air markets and festivals. We were lucky, as the day we were there they had a big Latin event with live music and dancing in the main square. The ice cream (Gelato) in France is the best I have ever seen and tasted. We decided to go back that night... More
