Wow, what grounds! 2000 year old olive trees, spectacular landscape, old-school agriculture techniques. Amazing beauty, and friendly staff. They have an electric tractor, and also use horse-drawn plows to work the vineyards.

The advantage of this chateau is that it is possibly the closest to Bordeaux so easily accessible as an afternoon trip. Like many chateaux the grounds are beautifully kept with manicured vines and apparently 1000 year old olive trees. There is plenty of outside space...More
