We did not have children with us, but there was a school group at the aquarium when we were there and they were fascinated. Excellent collect of marine life including a live alligator that was found in the Paris sewers.

Very nice aquarium to visit, a real pleasure for children, but also for everyone who like fishs, all sorts of small and collored sorts, big fishs, also a big turtle is swimming there, Nemo section is also great, fascinating for us all, this underwater world.

So long as you go into the place with the mind set you can't kill a day here you'll be fine. No aquarium is ever that big! Having said that we got almost 2 hours with 2 under 3s. The exhibits are clean and vibrant...More

On a family holiday with 3 children aged 14, 12 and 3, we had the inevitable 'rainy day'. We'd been advised the aquarium was great so we drove 25 minutes with the intention of spending the day. 2 hours later, we were done..and the place...More

A visit to the aquarium is something I only undertake every 20 years or so and being in Vannes it was time to do it. I don't think it is signposted that well for pedestrians and the first day we tried we arrived to find...More

Only small but good for small children. There is a butterfly house next door and it is close to the port for boat trips around the Gulf of Morbihan.

Visited with a young child on a wet day. Very well presented-lots of space and exhibits are easy to view. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Lots to occupy children and the crocodile was a huge hit. Very interesting visit. Would recommend a trip.
