I recommend the museum. I spend four hours soaking in the exhibits and a couple more walking around the town. I nice 1/2 day spend out of Paris.

A lot of the nearby schools have field trips so if you visit on those days it can make seeing the exhibits tricky, but it's doable. They frequently have art exhibits as well. The park attached is rather large and a welcome respite.
