The house itself is worth the entry fee of 3 euros... This gives entrance to the Musee Fabregat as well. The rooms are of grand proportions some dark but others open to the light of the garden or and light from the yard to the entrance. The fireplaces, panelliing, mirrors all speak of more salubrious times and a very influential... More

We enjoy browsing through small museums and these two - Musee Fayet & its counterpart - Musee Fabregat are well worth the combined 3 Euro admission charge. It is my second visit to the Fayet & its sister, Fabregat , art museums which are close to the Cathedral Saint Nazaire & are worth a visit for the 3€ joint entrance fee if you are in the area . A small museum with a collection of pottery and a disparate set of European paintings many of which are in poor condition, plus a few wooden carvings. For us the most interesting paintings were from the 19th and 20th century and one room displaying some local contemporary works.
