I wasn't sure whether it was going to be worth spending time here, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The castle is much more complete than the usual ruins - interesting though they are - and we found it fascinating. To be able to climb...More

Great castle, well worth a visit. Don't miss the 2 towers on the left as you go in. Also have a chocolate brownie! The hubby loved it.

We really enjoyed exploring the castle. I would just say, we almost missed the tower section as we didn't spot the sign opposite the cafe and the towers were the most interesting for me. Would thoroughly recommend coffee and cake, the chocolate brownie was divine.

This is a great little castle - if you have a few hours to spare I would definitely recommend a visit. The grounds are lovely and there's a great little cafe located there, too.

We did not know what to expect at Manobier, and were keen to learn more about Gerald of Wales. The castle is privately owned and it is in a very beautiful setting. There is plenty to see and it has a nice tea room. Good...More

They have a good website with open and closed dates but it only goes to the end of September so far. There is a phone number and email address. You had better check as it is a popular wedding site.
