Great to visit

Very nice place to do mountain activities (Nordic skiing, snow walks, ...) or just enjoy the landscape. Easy access with the bus from Cauterets. Be aware in winter with iced paths.

Very beautiful natural paradise. Perfect for cross country skiing or walking. If there is snow it is a great location to take children to make snowmen. There is a bar there serving food and drinks and deck chairs to sit out in the warm sun on a winters day, topping up your vitamin D!

Visited this attraction of nature during a journey through France to Spain, just wish we had planned for a lot longer to really appreciate the site. The road to the area is interesting and gives a sense of wonderment as to what you are going to find. When you do arrive you are presented with a massive car park, a... More

What a place !! I stayed with a friend and her son and whilst there it was suggested we visit Pont d'Espagne. I am so glad we went. I was in awe. Apparently it is covered in snow during the winter but it must have been eighty degrees in the shade when we were there. Sadly I am not great... More

A little disappointed with the waterfall although it is set in a lovely green area but compared to others we have seen i.e. Iceland this doesn't rate in our Top 10 but worth the trip as you can then go to Lac Gaube which was well the effort

We visited this place after getting back from Lac Gaube. This is an amazing site with stunning views. There is a big car park at the base . The view of bridge is beautiful too. One just keeps looking at the waterfalls . Everyone tries their best to capture the moments in their cameras . There is a restaurant near... More

The 'Pont d'Espagne' - Bridge of Spain / Spanish Bridge is situated in the Perinee, close to Cauterets. This beautiful old sturdy stone bridge is in the Pyrenee mountains, higher up from Cauterets. The bridge spans the Marcadau river where the Gaube river joins. This is a lovely part of the Pyrenees with beautiful forest in the Pyrenees National Park.... More

Very nice here. The drive to the car park from cauterets has a few hair pin turns but we managed it in a large van so it can be done! On the way up there are a number of waterfalls with a car park that also has a sign for pont d'espagne but you are to keep going to arrive... More

Don't get me wrong you be disappointed, also a cafe on sight! Try'd to take a few photos... More
