Well worth a visit, the square is large and surrounded with, I believe, Flemish architecture facades - there are also some excellent restaurants interspersed under the archways.

Arras as such is not very interesting, but the Grand Place is beautiful. It is worth to make a detour to have a stop here and have a drink.

When you arrive in this square you don't know where to look first, its just so beautiful. There are plenty of places to sit and eat, but its the beautiful architecture that takes your breath away.

One of the beautiful places of the Flanders region - but also the place to be, for Christmas market, summer events or just to stroll in the city.

A stunning place to wander around or sit and have a coffee. Classic Spanish influenced architecture. Visit the Boves to see how the stone was quarried from directly beneath the square. Facinating
