We entered expecting to see items from the Chateaus history, not spaced out Greek pots, Egyptian artifacts, paintings and items from Alaskan history. Killed around 40 minutes as not really much else to do in the area.

Great little museum, with interesting exhibits and a great old chateau which really adds to the atmosphere. The underground rooms are an added bonus. Very friendly staff.

The chateau was built in the 11th century by Eustace II, who is featured on the Bayeux tapestry. It has a picturesque moat and contains an interesting museum and art gallery and also has sections on ancient cultures, most notably Egyptology. It's well worth the...More

Super little chateau, with a really interesting collection of antiquities from around the world, nicely curated. I also really appreciated the fact that there was a decent effort to provide as much information as possible in English as well as French, although there was definitely...More
