A magnificent cathedral, impressively large, even larger than the Notre Dame in Paris, and built over a period of 300 years. Lovely chapels and a great view from the outside. Don't miss the laser light show. Well worth the visit.

This cathedral is truly impressive. Built in over 300 years from 1220 it is a massive cathedral with beautiful stainglass windows and a surprise in almost every little chapel on the sides. I'd say it is worth the d tour.

The cathedral is really stunning! It's in beautiful condition and is free to enter unless you wish to climb the towers. The windows are lovely and it's huge. A fabulous centrepiece for a really really nice city.

What makes Amiens cathedral stand above others, is it's height. It towers above the town, the vaulted ceiling almost too high to see. The scale is immediately apparent as you enter, by the size of the doors. The weeping Angel is a beauty to behold...More

There is a tour that takes you up there and you need to check with the ticket office and shop to the immediate left of the Cathedral. Google Amiens cathedral Tours for more. Don't miss it.
