Still closed. Now expected to reopen some time in 2019. The former Musee de l'art local (in the house of the duc de Berry) is also closed (in 2018), seemingly permanently

The building is quite big but you can visit the museum in about one hour. There are several things to see and the visit is interesting (there are also very nice paintings).

While it isn't a huge museum, it does have some very good exhibits. It is more than just an art gallery, and they way they set out the rooms also works quite well.

An amazing building currently undergoing restoration so a visit is not really worthwhile just yet. Most of the collection is not available to view. The paintings on exhibit are stunning and huge! The room overwhelms!

Currently (May 2017) parts are closed for renovation, so limited access. A good display of art well laid out.

Amiens which was almost destroyed in World War 1 is a beautiful city. Old style homes have been recreated and the Norte Damm Catheral is a magnifient building it is said better then Paris.

There is much to see here - paintings, sculptures and archaeological treasures. We speak French, but would have enjoyed it more if the descriptions had also been provided in English.
