Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The park itself is nice and clean.
A lot of space voor picknick.
But unfortunately al the playgrounds are closed (probably due to the corona virus)

The animal park/ little zoo is also closed.
Big disappointment for our two daughters (4 and 6 y old)

A delightful place to send a lazy few hours.

A large marshland lake surrounded buy nature at it's best ( even saw my first bittern!). A small nature reserve and a huge recreational lake with artificial lake, kids (of all ages!) water activities, crazy golf etc.

Deeper in there is a nice wildlife park/petting zoo where the animals all look well cared for ( note part is closed until next year as it is being improved).

One down side - no ice creams were available while we were there but Murphy's Law a van passed us on the drive way as we left :-(

A really well kept park & wetland area in the centre of town. There is a mini zoo at the far end with various animals ... best if all it's completely free!

We popped along en route to the basilica to fill an hour, the park is far better than we expected & very picturesque with leafy walks through the lakes and a few separate play areas scattered through the park appealing to all ages .. Very well kept play areas and lots of open space & benches.
There is a small farm area, with various small animals - all well looked after including wallabys, goats, emu's, Guinea pigs, donkeys etc..
The attraction is free with parking also free and outside the entrance - would certainly make the effort to re visit.

The walk in the park d'Isle was very pleasant and we were surprised to discover how extensive and varied it was. One can go through the marais onto the canal towpath and then back in the town.
This park is well worth a visit and can be appreciated by all ages as there are attractions for all. There is also plenty of bird life to observe in the marais.
Strongly recommended.
