We will be delighted to show you these and our particular part of Paradise here in the South of France with Bandol Wine Tours, picking you up straight from your Hotel or your Cruise ship. Riviera Wine Tours offer the same with the AOC Provence around the glamorous St Tropez, and the grand AOC of Bellet near Nice. We also offer guided tours of the entire region, showing the lovely and stylish Monaco, Antibes and Cannes etc to your order.

Richard is really knowledgeable about Bandol wines and wine in general!
We had a great tour with him, small group with collection from our hotel, we booked quite last minute which on this day was ok! 3/4 day tour was brilliant and the Lunch is a must!
Richard has a quirky sense of humour but is a really interesting and excellent tour guide!

Richard is a really nice guy who told us a lot about wine in an interesting way. We visited 3 vineyards and tasted about 35 wines which were great. I bought some bottles to take them home. I can really recommend his tour! He is doing it for 13 years so he has got a lot of experience.

There is no way to submit educational comments on Trip Advisor without a numerical review, so it is rated "average." This is simply a "word to the wise."
With this type of tour, communications is a "must" if you are joining from a cruise ship instead of a hotel, for example.
Our cruise ship was late getting to the dock and the tour operator had no choice but to leave us behind since others not on the ship were joining. There is always the option to "chase" the tour by taxi or Uber, but that was not our idea of a smart thing to do. We unfortunately had to miss the tour.
It would be important to know in advance whether the schedule could be adjusted by 30 or 45 minutes if the ship is late arriving. It was an unfortunate experience for us. If not, then the option is to cancel ahead of time and avoid the issue altogether.

We had an amazing wine tour of three vineyards in Bandol with Richard. His experience and knowledge was incredible. In-depth explanations, great relationship with the owners and "behind the scenes" access to the locations made the experience first rate. We learned so much about the region, history of winemaking and of course sampled great wine!
Book the full day tour and you will be treated to a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bandol Wine Tour with Richard. He thoughtfully selected vineyards we hadn't visited before and each one was a delight. We learned a lot about the process of wine making, the history of how the vines arrived in Bandol and the difference between a AOP Bandol and a AOP Cotes de Provence. The wine tastings themselves were very generous and the descriptions given informative. Lunch was also a delight - excellent value for money

This tour couldn't have been any better!! Richard was so personable and helpful and explained everything so well. Wines were fantastic and overall a total win. We tasted so many wines, One of the wineries let us try 10 of their fantastic wines! We saw and tasted everything we could have wanted. If you can book this tour you won't regret it!

The grandson who did the presentation for this family business gave a superb overview. It was informative and the wine was very nice. This was the best out of the 5 I have seen previously.

We chose Bandol WineTours after many recommendations and could not have made a better choice. Richard is highly knowledgeable about this beautiful region of France and drove us to three very different but equally impressive vineyard producers in the area. We were able to wander through the private production areas, taste the grapes (whole and in glasses!) and generally learn an awful lot about the entire winemaking process from start to finish.
A highlight was lunch at the beautiful Hostellerie Bérard, a Michelin starred restaurant where we met the chef Jean-Francois and enjoyed a stunning four course meal, which was included in the price.
If you are looking for an experience which is seamless, fun and packed with delicious tastings and astonishing food, this is the one.

3/4 day tour for me and my fiancée, Richard was responsive by email in advance answering all my questions and requests, arrived promptly at our accommodation at the predetermined time, and we proceeded to have a wonderful day visiting 2 very different family owned domaines, each with great wine, (you won't get any better prices than buying at the producer's doorstep) split by a super lunch with wonderful views from La Cadière-d'Azur over the vineyards at the sister restaurant of a Michelin starred chef.
Richard took us through the busy live vineyards which were in full swing owing to it being picking season and we could see the full process from delivery of grape bunches to destemming, pressing, fermentation, and bottling, including a cheeky taste of the freshly pressed juice! He shared his passion and knowledge of the region, domaines, varietials, and history, including over a short walk around the fortifications of La Cadière-d'Azur, pointing out interesting artifacts in the stonework.

We enjoyed pur second wine tour 2ith Richard recently. Yes.. we are repeat cistomers as Richard does a seriously good wine tour.We love Bandol wines .. in particular roses. Richard took us to several excellent vineyards we we could walk among the vineyards.. look at the production process and enjoy the wines. As the vendange was starting we saw the grapes coming in and the start of their journey into wines. We tasted and bought some excellent wines. Our tour included a lunch in a Michelin starred restaurant and it was one of the mostly finely poised delicious lunches ever.
Richard is really god company. The day out with him flows beautifully. Very knowledgeable, a good raconteur, witty and very kind. One of the best wine guides there is.
Do yourself a favour and book a tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Please can you tell me how to go about booking this tour. We are on a cruise ship stopping at Bandol on 20 June 2019 and would be nice to visit a winery.
Can you tell me how much it was each? How long the tour was? And if they pick you up from cruise ship? And bring you back? Would it be easier to just get a taxi to Bandolier winery?

Hi all the booking facilities are on the website if you go there then to Shore Excursions. And yes we do pick you up and drop you off at your ship!
The length of your depends on your choice of your type. This is also shown on that link. We also tailor that to suit your departure times.

Today (Monday) we are in Cassis, but want to know if we move to Bandol tomorrow, if we can take a tour with you on Wednesday (may 3rd)....need to decide as soon as possible so we know where to go when we leave Cassis tomorrow morning...will need to make my arrangement today....thank you!!!

On the full day tour, was there any time to explore the town of Bandol? Is the town in walking distance of where the ship is docked? Thanks for any info!

Hi, this full day tour starts at 9.30-9.45 at the dock in Bandol where your ship's tenders come in. Bandol is too little a port to take your ship so you all come in on the ship's tenders. This is right in the centre of town. We will get back around 4 or so to the same point so you will have plenty of time for a potter around the town. Hope this helps!
