This was listed as a big attraction in the area. We have been there three times and every time the gate was closed with a paper in front of it "Ferme". With no extra explanation why or when it would be open.

Its shame that the upper floors was closed. I visited this little chateau bychanse when crusing in camarge. Lots of furnnitures interesting bathroom equipements wateer system.... and a lot. Unfortunatly ypu cant take pictures inside

We enjoyed visiting this house particularly as the lovely guide was very good at explaining a few extras to us (in French). The grounds are beautiful. A visit will probably take about 2 hours, note there is no coffee shop.

audio guides are perfect for a tour on the grounds at your own speed, everything well groomed. Entrance fee is 4 Euros which is not expensive and the gardens are beautifully maintained. the history and sanitary/technical installations are amazing for the time it was completed...More

We took the tourist train here to learn of the history of the town of Avignon. We then toured the chateau and surrounding area.

This is an old chateau that was restored in the late 19th century by a wealthy industrialist from Marseille, who wanted a hunting lodge in the Camargue. What makes this chateau even more interesting is how the owner made use of "the latest" in technology...More

We stumbled by on our trip to Camargue and were pleasantly surprised. We actually had the house to ourselves (except for security) and had a great tour using the audio guide. The house was interesting in a Downton Abbey way and the grounds were beautiful....More

It is worth going if you want to spend a a sunny afternoon. Sometimes they organize concerts and pick-nicks.
