Perfect fot mixed ability groups

A great area suitable to all levels of skiers and boarders. We have been 3 times with mixed age and ability groups and it's perfect.

Just finished an amazing trip to Alpe d'uez. We were mixed abilitys going, my girlfriend was learning but she was naturally very good and we got to ski alot of the resort excluding the blacks up top but we will be back! For intermediate skiers, take the route over to Vaujany via the 'les rousses red' from 2nd Troncon gondola,... More

Just lost a day and a half skiing as all the lifts were shut due to the wind, wouldn't risk coming here again!

Me and a group of friends were partying at the La Folie Douce last Thursday. At 4:50 in the afternoon, we wanted to descend to Alpe d'Huez with the cable because we consumed alcohol and it is never a good idea to mix it with skiing. There were two female employees at the cable that rudely told us we're not... More

We spent a fantastic week in Alpe d'Huez which really delivered. There are slopes for everyone in the family. There is even some decent off piste next to the slopes, but you have to be prepared to get up early in the morning if you want it... Great places for lunch, and our favorite was le Spot, which had great... More

The whole domaine is pretty vast, with skiing available for all levels of expertise. Due to the bowl-shaped area that Alpe d'Huez itself is situated in, it is necessary to do some ski lift travelling before you get to the more challenging slopes. The ski lift network is the best I have been to - fast, efficient, and there are... More

Beautiful place - picturesque - we'll maintained and organised. A definite place to return to. As a skiing novice there were plenty of runs to learn and practice on of varying ability. We never got bored- nor did our 18 and 20 year old boys. You can also get the cable car to the top of the mountain - 3300... More

This my third visit to Alpe D'Huez and it again meet my expectations. We had a couple of days of very challenging weather which restricted the skiing for a day but then this meant we had 3 days of fantastic snow. We skied almost all of the available piste. The valley of Oz provide some really challenging red runs which... More
