Chateau de Saint Martin CRU CLASSE is a beautiful estate of 100 hectares of which 50 in vineyards, deeply marked by history. It is with the Romans who cultivated and left a lot of tracks that began the Saint Martin story. Wine tourism activities are organized: Vinoscenies in the underground cellar, wine tasting, wine games, picnic, cocktails animations... It's also an original place for reception: weddings, meetings, incentive, rallyes... Château de Saint Martin has also 5 diferent guest rooms for customers who want a relaxing stay in the Provençal vineyard.

We had a nice short tour through a part of the chateau/gardens and watched a movie in the old wine cellars. Then the really good part started: the wine tasting with Angelique. We tasted six wines and a dessert liquor. Angelique was very entertaining and enthusiastic. The wines were very good as well as the accompanying bread with tapenades (3 of which we bought). Then we had a nice lunch (vegetarian and vegan) with the wines of our choosing and to very, very nice liquors. It was really a great experience!!

Our hostess in the tasting room was delightful. She shared the story of the vineyard, the wines, and answered all our questions. We selected self-guided tour and this seemed to please most in our group of 7. The museum was fabulous and appropriate for curious of any age. The gift shop was outstanding and I felt comfortable browsing, and tasty a few more items before making my selections. I will return with other visitors.

A very pleasant visit of a remarkably welcoming winemaker. Run by highly knowledgeable women for the last 10 generations, they offer an informed wine-tasting session and have available for sale a large selection of their own roses and white (Cru Clasee) and remarkably good reds to drink young, as well as a good choice of local products (olivades, tapenades, pastis, etc).

This is a very nice chateau with excellent wines and a hotel bed and breakfast available as well. There are very nice white, rose and red wines from this historic winery. The tasting occurs in a nice room that is often used for weddings and other ceremonies. A beautiful garden area is outside. There is opportunity to walk among the large trees and enjoy the quiet of the garden. There is opportunity to purchase the wine from the winery. The history of female ownership is very interesting as well.

The tour was guided by a staff member from the winery even though we visited Chateau de Saint-Martin on a wine tour shore excursion out of Cannes, France. The tour included the cellar and surrounding grounds but not much of the inner workings. The guide was very energetic, funny and entertaining. It concluded with a sit down wine tasting with lite spreads accompaniment which was a nice touch. We only visited one other winery so our exposure as far as wineries in this area is limited

We visited Chateau de Saint-Martin on a wine tour shore excursion out of Cannes, France. The winery is in an old building on top of wine cellars that were dug by monks- the tour of the cellar was great. The wine tasting was great and we picked up a couple bottles during our visit.

We did a short walking tour of the cellar, which had been built by monks 800 years ago. The cellar is now only used for storing wine in large concrete bunkers that are built into the walls, but the old casks are on display. We then went to the chateau and tasted a number of wines, including a sparkling, a brandy, a “cooked wine” and a red. For our visit we had a private tasting where the wines were all paired with different chocolates. The experience was very special and worth it.

Saint Martin wines are not quite as flowery as those of Taradeau and their rosés are fantastic, as well as very good value

Very nice surprise during the "Big Christmas dinner" event organized by the owners of Château St Martin. Very pleasant setting, top-notch organization, cuisine in the theme, well cooked with quality products, impeccable service with a dynamic team, tasting of quality wines from the property, all accompanied by 2 excellent musicians (violin and accordion) punctuating the evening. We will come back with great pleasure.

After two postponements, too many people in July, not possible in October because of the harvest, finally a meeting at the beginning of November. But a congruous visit: a cellar no longer used with old oak barrels, a film on the history of the vineyard and a visit to a museum on the manufacture of liqueurs with a treasure hunt based on smell. That's all, 1 hour no more, the guide just 5 minutes at the beginning. No visit or explanation of wine making at present. Then the picnic, cold in November! Gazpacho, green salad, cheese and pork with wine tasting, bottle bases, ice cream dessert, grapes and a piece of chocolate fondant, no liqueur or coffee! Really, we felt too much!
