We've never seen a woolly mammoth (or a sabre toothed tiger, cave bear or woolly rhino) so we really enjoyed this little museum in a beautiful old building. A baby mammoth sits out the front, and there is the mummified baby mammoth inside - so...More

I am so glad my boyfriend and I found this!! What a gem of a place! It was fascinating, yes it's a small museum but the quality of the specimens shown is amazing! A must see! This museum deserves much more publicity!

Small museum but I enjoyed it. Some of the tusks on display looks man-made and hand painted, but the main mammoth skeleton was cool.

It takes about 15-30 mins to explore the museum and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The entrance fee is a little bit too expensive but it's a thing to do in a rainy day.

Marvelous location in a charming narrow street right in the middle of the old town, spacious museum, interesting excursion, impressive all in all. Definitely worth visiting!

The scheduled opening times: 10-21h. When we (my son, my nephew and me) arrived on 11 of february 2016, it was 10:55. It was closed! At the door, sticked at it from the inner part, a hand-written paper: "Abrimos en media hora". "Will open in...More

A cheap, small museum with no queues, bones you can touch, a mammoth and a sabre tooth tiger (among other attractions). A nice quick look around that was fun for my 12 year old daughter and myself. It's near other attractions so no need to...More
