We have been to this place after BORRA CAVES. It is almost 15 minutes journey from BORRA CAVES and 20 minutes journey from BORRA railway station on the way to ARAKU. Waterfall is small but its beauty is awesome. You can go to the bottom of the waterfall through cement stairs. Also for photography it is a very good place.... More

Ananthagiri Hills is on the way to Araku valley ghat road, offers excellent, beautiful, picturesque view of valleys. If you are a photography enthusiast, Coffee plantations on the way is something you shouldn't miss. Locals selling sweet corn, coffee beans and spices could be explored. Ananthgiri has moderate waterfall of about 20- 25ft height. Thin streams of water falling from... More

A very good stop over place and even a better Haritha resort to stay than araku Scenic beauty and a small waterfall through the village is a must visit, more than the waterfall it's the village with mud huts and pumpkins hanging from creepers that makes it feel so beautiful. Haritha resort and restaurant is also so nice to stay

Ananthagiri hills are at the highest point in Araku. The view of the hills covered with coffee plantations is fantastic. The taste of Araku coffee served on roadside is excellent.

We stayed at Araku Mayuri tourist lodge at Araku, but to enjoy the total beauty & tranquility of Anantagiri Hills, one has to stay at APTDC's Tyda Haritha resort. Cofee plantations, Spice cultivation, green hills, dense forests, deep valleys, waterfalls - this area is full of enchanting beauty. We visited in a dry spell, which is convenient, but a little rain... More

Nice rows of coffee plants along the journey through Ananthagiri Hills. You can also find some Black Pepper trees in and around this place. This region is known for trees and plantations for different types of spices. So majority of the local roadside shops also sell packet of spices apart from coffee and chocolates. Araku Filter coffee has an altogether... More

Araku - it is around 30 kms from Borra caves. The ghat section is around 51 kms in total stretch and Borra caves is located in 24th km of the ghat section. There is Katiki waterfalls near Borra and one needs to take 4-wheel drive to reach this falls. We skipped it and we stopped inbetween at Galikonda view point.... More
