Enjoyed a great day out here early November whilst visiting Newcastle. Very well organised attraction with plenty to do, lots to see and had a lovely pie from the bakery. Good vale at £19 an adult ticket which lasts a year!

What an amazing time. The Santa was so so good. My little girl has never met Santa before but this guy, has sat the bar really high. He was fantastic. The staff we encountered were all amazing.

Me and my friends loved it. They really need to sharpen their ice skates though, I was going all over the place.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. I'm of an age where I could relate to much of the decor etc in the cottages. The staff in shops and other establishments were knowledgeable and friendly.

As with the other responses, it would be better to check directly with the museum in case a specific issue, or maintenance programme requires access to the drift mine to be reduced. Even if the actual drift is closed there... More
