Krempita at the tower

Inside of fortress have beautifull Clock tower. You need to walk to the top of hill and inside fortress on top have this tower. You can enjoy beautifull view on city Novi Sad.

The fortress is a major attraction in this part of the world. It is, in fact, one of the best Baroque fortresses of Eastern Europe. One of its additional attractions is this clock tower. Part of the fortress. If you could see it, you had to pay taxes back in the day. A gift from Maria Teresa from the Austro-Hungarian empire.

when i think of Novi Sad this is the symbol that up to my mind, def the clock tower. i visited it after a long walk in Petrovaradin fortress and by far this has been my favorite, it's beautiful in day time as well as during the sunset, picture worthy :) Love that clock very much :)

Why the confusion it is part of Petrovaradin Fortress and it is Tower, nothing special , OH that is a special confusing feature : The minute and hour hand on the clock tower are reversed, with the small hand showing minutes, and the big hand showing hours. Probably the most well-known symbol of Petrovaradin fortress. Located at the viewing terrace, from where you get sublime view of Novi Sad.

Has a interesting story, strange time showing. Location is prefect, has a little stands with souvenirs and benches around.

The clock tower is on petrovaradin fortress just as you enter from a long climb of steps. A thign peculiar about this clock - its meant for sailors and hence the hands of the clock are in reverse. the long hand tells the hour and short one tells the minute.
