the friendship fountain has a figure symbolizing each of the twin cities of Sindelfingen, e.g. Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Chelm, Poland; Dronfield, UK; etc. Movable figures are popular with children, who can play with them

Yeah it's a fountain in the town square. It's nice but don't go to this place, walk by it on your way to your destination

The Friendship Fountain is worth a look while in the beautiful little town of Sindelfingen. The sculptures are brilliant and nice to photograph.

One of the better known places in sindelfingen, this fountain is place to hang around with your Kids during the hot summer evenings. The fountain like all other places is stopped during the winter time. Considering the reasonably big open space, this place is occupied or managed to organise the Christmas market, floh market e.t.c Also this places is occupied... More

I just love this fountain in Sindelfingen. Several days a week there is a fresh farmer's market that takes place with fruits, meats, breads, plants, etc! I love to sit out in this area and people watch!

This is a nice place to hangaround especially when there is no specific events like the Christmas market or any Flea markets. Otherwise this place is crowded and the fountains and figures around it are covered by the shops around. The fountains is stopped during winter. An ideal place for some selfies and photoshots with family and Kids.

A wonderful fountain with so many details worth capturing. The fountain itself has a number of metal statues with articulated joints, and in a circle around the main fountain are smaller fountains topped by more metal statues (fox, dragon, bee hive, ram etc.). Fascinating.

We were there last weekend when there was a Fish Market and we saw this beautiful fountain and couldn't stop starring! It has different animals and the details are awesomely real! We really enjoyed seeing this type of artistic work in the middle of the square in Sindelfingen!

The friendship fountain at Sindelfingen's market place features very detailed figures that can move in parts. No entrance fee and good for photo shots with friends or just of the detailed work itself. In wintertime water is off and be careful at market days as the fountain can be covered in parts by market stands.

Friendship Fountain on the market place, designed by Bonifatius Stirnberg. Around a central fountain with the Pegasus are six small fountains representing the six partner towns of Sindelfingen. The figures can rotate and also arm and leg move, let the children have fun. This is a nice representation of the twinned towns and worth a few moments of your time.... More
