Treetop Adventure course at Mainau Forest Day Trips at Mainau Treetop Adventure course are about living life more adventurously, having fun on high ropes obstacles and zip lines in the middle of 100 year-old beech trees. It's a great way to get outdoors and experience nature's breathtaking beauty. Besides 120 obstacles including challenging crossings, ladders, bridges, tarzan swings and spectacular zip lines, guests can discover themed tree houses which depict different aspects of trees anatomy. Overall, there are 9 individual sections with different levels of difficulty. The highest section is 30 meter high in the forest canopy. All guests receive a safety briefing and training from a qualified instructor before they start climbing. The instructors are always on hand and observing from the wooden walkway around the courses. Guests and other visitors can use this 100 Meter long walkway to watch their friends and family swing through the trees. Near by the climbing area is the medieval convent St. Katharina with a lovely beer garden. After an exciting adventure the guests can relax in a hammock and enjoy a tasty snack or a refreshing drink under shady chestnut trees. The Mainau Treetop Adventure course is conveniently located just a 15 minute walk from Mainau Island's parking lot. The course is open in all weather conditions except very heavy winds or lightning.

I definitely would not regret in joining it although I hurt myself quite a lot with bruises and muscle pain after it. It is a place for you to step out your comfort zone and challenge yourself, good for kids and youngsters!

Great garden, located on island connected by the city by bus line, or can take a cruise boat. Price reasonable and on a sunny day can take 4 hours to wander around. Has several resturants on the premise including an ATM.

We choose the right time to visit this wonderful place at the springtime and here in the island of flowers everything blooms in many colors. Inside there is an amazing butterfly house with many many of them. I'd stay there for days.

A beautiful peaceful island of flowers, glorious avenues of trees, animals and butterflies. Lots of walking, but you can hire cute little barrows to push children around, or electric scooters for people with mobility problems.

It is always better to catch a blossoming time there. Otherwise you have a chance to strolling over the Island for hours and not finding a reason why is it called "a flower island". And be charged for that 18 Euro.
