The beauty of the lake cannot be described. You have to be there to see it. It was fantastic and all of us had a great ride on the boat from Konigssee to st Bartholomew church and back.

Yes . You certainly don’t need to pre book any rides for the lake . You have two options - go until st bartholomew or go until the end of the lake and do a nice walk . The last ferry goes back at 6 pm I think
