Truly paradise. The beach is gigantic in terms of dimensions. Perfect to walk into any directions. Quite a long walk over the bridge to get there but it’s absolutely worth it. Suggest you wear a suitable outfit as the wind on the seaside can be very strong. Lovely fresh air is priceless:-)

Very nice beach, lot of space and fantastic infrastructure (toilets, restaurants, parking, showers, playgrounds ...). Great place for windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP etc.

All at the same place and the same time. The beach is massive, with 3 car parks even, but laid out In a way that that is not intrusive of the beach life. We went several times to fly sports kites and brought our dinner (from Gosch Seafood), watched the sunset or went for a long walk. The entire coast area is a national park so be careful: no drones! Usually lasts afternoons are better, there’s less people and the wind is usually great for flying.

We have never been to another beach like this. You have to buy a ticket for 3 Euro to enter the wooden bridge that will take you to the beach after about one kilometer walk. The beach is about one kilometer broad but it streches out to both sides as long as you can see. The conditions are perfect for families with children. Don't forget high factor suncream and a parasol as the sun can been tough with a full day on the beach.

The beach stretches for kilometers and you can access it from various points... It is a Unesco national reserve but has also a special section where dogs can walk free, otherwise they have to be on a line. The Nordsee has a tide, thus the water will retract very far in - and out again. Marvellous to walk or for sunbathing, even when you have high-season you will definitely manage to find "space"...
