A curious mix of very ornate and yet plain in some areas. Certainly worth a visit and to spend some quiet time reflecting.

If you're in the area, this one is a must-see. Beautiful church at the top of the hill in the downtown. Really lovely architecture and history with great performances on the steps at night.

I admit to an interest: all my family members on my maternal great grand mother's side were "hatched, matched and despatched" in St Michael's from the late 15th century until the turn of the 20th century. But personal interest aside, this is a fascinating and imposing building. Re-built after the Reformation, its history is closely associated with that world changing... More

St. Michael is the main church of Schwabisch Hall and it is worth visiting since it is located in the main square of the town surrounded by beautiful buildings, cafes and hotels. It is situated on the highest point of the square with beautiful stairs spreading in front of it. On these stairs, and during festival season in the summer,... More

Amazing Architecture, the staircase up to the church is very unique and looks amazimgly steep from below ... but it's worth it.

I always take visitors here to see the fascinating collection of art and statues in this magnificent church, its well worth a visit. I only wish I knew more about it so I could explain the history to my guests.

Absolutely stunning cathedral. I especially loved how intricately the ceiling was painted and all the artwork. You can get an amazing view of Schwabisch Hall from the top of the tower, but be prepared for a dizzy, sweaty adventure up countless spiral stairs.

This beautiful church sits in an elevated position on the market square with fabulous views of the Town hall and surrounding buidings. We visited during the day so were unable to see the theatrical performances which take place on the steps of the church at weekends, but that didn't matter as the church is what we were really hoping to...
