I really enjoyed going through this awesome bath house. Some of the bath houses are converted into shops but a few remain. The park that is next to the Sprudelhof is incredible to walk through and very relaxing. On the other side of the park is the hotel Elvis Presley stayed in during his army time in nearby Friedburg.

If it's sunny cool place to hang around. The local tourist office can provide you with a guide too. Ours was great!

The Sprudelhof in Bad Neuheim is a great reminder of how important the Spa was in the hey day of alternative treatments inEurope. You can still 'Take the Waters' and feel like a visiting Prince. The various treatments are offered at decent prices by the session or day and they are highly thought of both locally and national here. The... More

Being an Englishman, it was something different to see. Surrounding the fountain are numerous clinics. The whole package is worth viewing.

Nice place to spend half an hour looking at the buildings (you can get inside some of them), fountains, park around. Architecturally it does not look at all similar to places like Barcelona or Alesund, "art nouveau" sticker really becomes clear when you look at the interiors.

Found this place by accident, but what a find! The history of the bath houses is so interesting, managed to get a sneaky peak inside one of the cubicles. It's all original from turn of the last century, so pleasing to find some physical history still left and not ripped out to make way for modern faceless improvements.

Few international travellers are probably aware of Bad Nauheim let alone its art nouveau spa complex called Sprudelhof which is a real missed opportunity. If you have an interest in the well known art nouveau cities of say Barcelona, Brussels, Nancy and Glasgow then head for this small city just 30 minutes by train north of Frankfurt. It's a compact... Straight off the Main Street and perfect for an early morning walk and so peaceful and calming. Even if the baths are closed you can admire the fine architecture and walk further on into the park.
