The very special catholic church in middle of Speyer is a must see. The whole interior is built from local wood and painted to make it look like expensive marble stone.

This was quite a find for us. Quite small with spectacular woodwork and painted ceiling. Superior rococo alter and organ. It has an incredibly welcoming feel.

This church is another masterpiece of architecture just a few steps from the Dome. Although very much smaller in size, this church is worth visiting. There are very rare and interesting paintings in the ceiling.

The lovely façade hides many artistic treasures, a golden altar, frescoed walls and ceiling, precious paintings. It is also a concert venue.
