Martinsbrunnen is an eye-catching sculpture cum fountain in the middle of the market square surrounded by nice structures. St. Martin is regarded as Catholic saint who later became the bishop and this sculpture is erected to memorize the story behind. You won't miss this spot...More

This was a great sculpture and fountain dominating the square in Cochem. Very picturesque. A beautiful picture op! Spent most of our time photographing the area. Don't miss it!

It's a pleasant enough statue but if you're into statues and are going to visit Cochem then check out the story before you go. This is St Martin, a fairly major catholic saint born in Hungary who became a roman soldier and then a bishop....More

A nice center piece of the city center. A kind of a breaker to the spot where people gather in this area. Shopping places and restaurants and cafes are all here making it too crowded sometime.

It is a nice enough fountain in the rather crowded market square. But is just a fountain not much else happening.

This is a lovely fountain with a statue of Saint-Martin where people gather around to drink and enjoy life . Sometimes there are street artists to add to the ambience !

The bronze statue of Saint Martin on horseback sharing his cloak with a beggar creates an interesting sight in this busy plaza. It sits above a column/fountain. Not the original, but based on the original from the 15th century.

Situated in the market square nice fountain adds ambience to a very nice (but quite crowded) area. Easy visit while wandering Cochem.
