It's lovely to walk around the city but you can also take the toy train from the city centre. Suggest you take it so you save time and also see the different parts including the vineyards. Watching the multicoloured buildings from the other side of...More

We visited Cochem in early June and found this town to be so charming and picturesque. Parking was easy to find. Cochem has many pedestrian-only streets and our walk through these medieval cobblestoned streets was wonderful and very enjoyable! This town's main square is very...More

Cochem was very, very busy and parking almost impossible to find. We were charged twice as much for two coffees here then in Bernkastel-Keus. The town was full of impolite school children. The cobbled streets are very pretty but much prefer Bernkastel-Keus

Beautifully preserved it is fascinating to walk about the narrow cobblestone streets all lined with one magnificent, colorful building after another. There are lots of cafes and bars.

The mustard museum, like so many little historical venues, offers an insight into past ways of working etc. The range of mustards available in the shop is extensive

Having a penchant for mustard this was a revelation. There were lots of varieties and combinations of flavours, not all to my taste, but many were. We left with three pots. The young man serving was very helpful.
