I had never been to a real European spa like this one. Its huge and as clean as you would expect the Swiss are with many pools, water features that fall, splash, pound, swirl and swish you into heavenly bliss. Theres a music room, underwater music, hot or/and warm water, cold water dunks, saunas for the naked and the less... More

We loved our visit to the Salt Mines. I just wish I'd taken more of an interest in Chemistry at school! The little train is great fun and makes the trip more memorable. Don't consider visiting if you get claustrophobic though. The audio guide is well presented and very informative. I would have liked to hear even more. It really... More

We were well looked after. We did not make the English tour but the audio guide was excellent and the tour guide gave us a time to be back for the train to the surface and we followed the audio tour at our own pace.

This is an exciting tour of the ancient salt mine. History is well explained and the train ride to get inside makes one wonder the difficult job of mining salt for our consumption. There is small bar inside.

This is a great historic site that plunges yourself into one of the Swiss nicest mineral salt mine. The tour is easy and impressive.

we were told by the main site it would be an exciting attraction. we went to montreux station to book train tickets to Bex, wich cost 17chf (fair price), also told the salt mines were 30 min walk from staion. we set off from the station 90 minutes later we arrived at the salt mine after a arduous trek up... The staff are very welcoming. The audio guide provides good information about what one will find inside. Good for people who do not understand french.

Not for the claustrophobic person!!! You make a train ride in small cramp wagons 1km into the mountain to see it all. When ever you walk into the mine it gives you an idee of how low the roof is. This give you an idee of why the train is so small. The rest of the places underground are better... More

We had a great time visiting the site with our small boy. Presentation included good mix of history, science and current business activities of a mine stil active. Small train going in (to half a kilometre below surface), but safe for kids etc... good to rely on Swiss safety standards. Make sure to take warm clothes. And have a good... More

Nothing special, but a good visit for a rainy day. We went to the mines with 2 families with 3 children (8, 9 and 10 years). They enjoyed it. Tour is mainly in French, but they provide English audio guides. Please make sure to book your tickets online: it saves you money.
