Built in an restored homestead, this museum features restored rooms with historic furniture, fixtures and appliances - stoves, etc., - from the last 2 centuries. You can learn a lot about the way the locals lived in this part of Switzerland.

It was great to visit this lovely old swiss house. It contains a random collection of objects which I enjoyed seeing. Rocks, retro ski clothing, taxidermy. The staff were mega friendly. I am really happy i visited.

Watch out for the limited opening times. Do go if you have a chance - the room settings from the past are really interesting and the history of the valley and the railway are well set out.

We dropped into this local museum one evening on the way back to the hotel from a hike up Alp Languard and found it an utterly charming museum, full of fascinating artefacts and information. A real treat!
