We received excellent assistance with travel planning for our time in Weggis from the Weggis Vitznau Rigi tourist information center in Weggis. We were based in Weggis for four days and it was so helpful to consult with the tourist information staff each day for our plans. The suggestions for our lake trip, recommendations for hiking trails, logistical planning and help finding an open restaurant in a remote town was greatly appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed the E bikes which were so easy to rent from the tourist information center. The boat trips, hiking, and E bikes made a perfect way to explore the area. Thanks again to the staff at the Weggis Vitznau Rigi tourist information center in Weggis.

Very helpful and efficient. We explained what we would like to do and how much time we have and got a program on the spot . Expensive, but you pay with a smile.

We came to Weggis/Rigi for our honeymoon and booked a hotel. We had a few questions regarding tickets up to Rigi Kulm and decided to inquire at the Tourist information office. The only lady working there was shockingly rude and did not listen to our questions. She shook her head as though annoyed and didn’t even listen to us. We do not speak Swiss German, nevertheless we are Swiss. We haven’t come across this kind of attitude very often, but had I known I would have kept to the Internet for information.

I was very satisfied with the friendly and helpful service that i received here- advice on travel plan and connections- they really wanted to help.
I don't think that a tourist information center is a tourist attraction- but they sure deserve a place on the map due to the service that they provide to travelers.

Buy your tickets from this office for funiculars, cable cars etc. Get accurate detailed advice. they are great.

The tourist information is one our first stops when we arrive in Weggis. Usually for timetables, postcards and stamps, and travel passes.
The staff are always very cheerful and helpful, even down to telling us which platform we needed to be on at Lucerne train station when going back to the airport.
This place is invaluable, and is right next to the boat station.
