I love this place not only for myself but to visit with family and friends. It's a beautiful part of Dover and it's always kept and maintained beautifully.Definatlely one of my favourite places to visit.
Excellent for mums to meet up with their children and a worthwhile visit off the beaten track for tourists
Take a picnic and visit one of the most beautiful parts of Dover and one of the most beautiful parks nearest the docks
Have a picnic, play tennis, have a walk, watch the swans or ducks, play in the park, eat Solleys ice cream or just gave a bbq with friends....so many things to do here, it's a free natural place to just be and enjoy.
lovely stroll around beautiful grounds, play area for kids etc.(although more kids seem to be in kearsney abbey) so can be pretty peaceful. most kids I see here are trying to net tiny fish, but thankfully always seem to empty their buckets back in.
