This museum, located with the Tourist Information Office, is small, but has several interesting artefacts all with local connections. There are several displays showing aspects of daily life in Carlow (town and country-side) in the past.

If you like Irishish history then this is a small taste of history in Carlow. Church and politics. Two floors, guides to ask questions, plenty of photos. Large carved wooden altar/ pulpit on first floor.
