We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day DB&B stay here, a stay made extra special and more memorable by manager David and his enthusiastic staff Deanne and Jocelyn. Our visit coincided with the announcement of a second lockdown but any anxiety they felt at this news was never apparent. They were always professional, willing and upbeat and together made a large contribution to our very happy stay. Their assistance with my birthday celebration will always be treasured by both of us, breakfasts and dinners were so good and the Sunday Roast Beef Lunch was outstanding, both regarding quality and quantity; we can eat but we both came close to defeat that Sunday! Our Room 3 was really well appointed with a very large and comfortable bed and a view over part of the Estate where so many deciduous trees displayed their Autumn colours....and where the tawny owls called repeatedly every night. There is a lot of pride in this village and in the Milbank Arms; once lockdown is over, pop in....you’ll be happy you did!

Food was lovely however the dining room was freezing. Front door was open so draft was coming through. When asked for door to be shut was told it had to remain open. We were offered to move to the bar but who wants to sit in the bar for a nice meal when the bar is noisy. Bill arrived and noticed there was a Covid 19 rate tax of 5% added on. When asked about this the waitress could provide no explanation. Will not be rushing back in a hurry.

Called in on Saturday lunchtime for a drink with family, we were served promptly by friendly bar staff. We noticed how great the food being served looked and had we not already pre-booked for an evening meal at another pub, we would have eaten at The Milbank Arms. We will most definitely return to try the food. Decor was lovely, as was the atmosphere.

Plucked from the internet for a one night stay to celebrate wedding anniversary - will be back. Pub sits in very picturesque village even if chucking it down (and very good for walking) Received a warm welcome and shown directly to our room. This was very spacious and comfortable. Recently decorated everything is clean but with a lovely feel. Prints on the wall, add to the overall feel. Bathroom was excellent, huge bath but no hook for shower head, though this is to be sorted. Breakfast was excellent, locally sourced: well set up for the day
